As part of activities promoting Polish agri-food products on international markets, the KOWR organized a national stand under the ‘Poland tastes good’ slogan at the show. Six Polish companies had an opportunity to present their offer at the stand. The companies represented various industries such as meat products, fresh fruit, teas, herbs and infusions, supplements and animal husbandry. The offer of Polish entrepreneurs attracted the attention of many visitors of the fair.
On the first day of the show, after its official opening, the Polish national stand was visited by representatives of the government administration of the Republic of Belarus. They got to know the offer of the Polish companies and tasted Polish dishes prepared at the stand.
In addition to the stand, an economic mission was organized by the KOWR in cooperation with the Polish Trade Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in Minsk. As part of the event, an information meeting was held dedicated to the Belarusian agri-food market.
The KOWR also organized an information and promotional stand of the promotion programme for Polish food specialties. The promotional activities were also carried out by means of cooking shows and food tastings held at the stand every day. Their aim was to promote Polish food and present Poland as a traditional with modern cuisine.
PRODEXPO fair is an opportunity to establish business contacts and find alternative outlet markets for Polish products. The Republic of Belarus might be a promising export market thanks to short distance and cultural similarities.
