KOWR at the Food and Hotel Vietnam 2019 international fair in Ho Chi Minh City

Food and Hotel Vietnam 2019 international fair took place in the Exhibition and Convention Center of Ho Chi Minh City (Vietnam) on 24-26 April 2019.

The KOWR organised a national stand of 54 m2, enabling six Polish food companies to display their food products. The presented offer included: confectionery (chocolate bars, chocolate boxes, pralines, wafers), fresh and frozen fruit, healthy snacks, turkey and chicken meat, dragees and coated products used in confectionery industry, juices and caviar. The stand also incorporated an information desk of the Foreign Trade Office of the Polish Investment and Trade Agency in Ho Chi Minh City. The Office was represented by its Manager Mr Piotr Harasimowicz and other employees. The stand featuring the Poland Tastes Good slogan hosted individual talks as well as B2B meetings with potential business partners.

The day before the fair a seminar on the Vietnamese agri-food market and business culture was organized. After the seminar, B2B meetings were held with Vietnamese companies and representatives of global and local retail chains present in Vietnam. On the same day, Polish entrepreneurs visited large retail chains located in Ho Chi Minh City: Annam Gourmet and VinMart.

Food and Hotel Vietnam fair takes place every two years and celebrated its 10th anniversary this year. This edition attracted almost 700 companies from 49 countries, who exhibited their products on 12 500 m2 surface. The event was attended by over 13 thousand visitors.

Participating in the trade mission to Vietnam joined with the presence at Food and Hotel fair was an excellent opportunity to present the rich offer of the Polish food sector.
