The Polish national stand organized by the KOWR included 5 companies offering: cakes and cookies, candies, pralines, corn crunchies, crisps, fudges as well as healthy bars and snacks. As much as 84 Polish companies in total presented their products during this years’ anniversary edition of the event. Poland was ranked 5th as the country whose representatives occupied the largest exhibition area. The Polish national stand was visited by Mr Jakub Wawrzyniak, Polish Consul General in Cologne, on the first and second day of the fair. Cooking shows were held at the stand every day of the fair. The visitors had an opportunity to taste the best of traditional Polish confectionery and pastries such as jagodzianki (blueberry buns), pączki (Polish filled doughnuts), Polish apple-pie as well as hand-made chocolate pralines prepared by our pastry chefs.
The 50th anniversary edition of the ISM Cologne, the world’s biggest confectionery fair, took place on 2-5 February 2020.
