Polish national stand, organized jointly by the KOWR and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, had a surface area of 150 m2. Four Polish agri-food companies presented their offer at the KOWR’s part of the stand (covering 60 m2). Their offer included, inter alia, biscuits, candies and egg products. The KOWR’s stand was subsidised under the “Promotion of Polish economy based on Polish brands – Polish Economy Brand” sub-measure 3.3.2 of the Smart Growth Operational Programme 2014-2020.
In addition, the KOWR’s stand also included a showroom presenting the export offer of Polish companies which had earlier provided information and promotional materials or product samples to the KOWR.
Polish national stand organized at SIAL China 2019 was visited by Mr Ryszard Zarudzki, Undersecretary of State in the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, and the official delegation of Polish agricultural institutions.
As part of the cooking show and sampling organized by the KOWR at the Polish national stand, Polish cuisine and food as well as Poland itself were promoted every day of the event. Poland was depicted as a country with strong culinary traditions that makes the most of modern cooking techniques.
The main aim of participating in SIAL CHINA was to promote Polish food and extend its presence on the Chinese and Asian markets, as well as to increase the interest in Polish products and attract possible business partners from abroad.
