    KOWR at the Food Taipei 2019 Fair

    The National Support Centre for Agriculture, promoting Polish food, for the fourth time organised the Polish national stand at the Food Taipei 2019 Fair – one of the largest East-Asian food fairs. The event was held in Taipei, Taiwan, on 19-22 June.

    The National Support Centre for Agriculture participated in the Food Taipei 2019 Fair held on 19-22 June in Taipei, Taiwan. This year, the Polish national stand promoting Polish food specialties under the Poland Tastes Good slogan brought together producers of Polish food offering, inter alia, sweets, milk and milk products, fruit and nut bars, chocolate-covered snacks, muesli, drinks (water, juices, energy drinks), pasta as well as fruit and fruit products.

    On all days of the fair, the Polish stand organised cooking shows combined with a tasting of traditional Polish dishes and snacks, so as to make the visitors more familiar with the culinary tradition and culture of Poland.

    On the occasion of participation in the fair, on 18 June 2019 the KOWR organised, in cooperation with the Polish Office in Taipei, a trade mission for Polish producers. As part of the mission, thanks to the support of Mr Maciej Gaca, Director General of the Polish Office in Taipei, Polish producers had an opportunity to meet key trading partners operating in Taiwan. The B2B meetings with the Polish entrepreneurs were attended by the representatives of such companies as: Imei Foods Co. Ltd., RT-MART International Ltd., Shin Kong Mitsukoshi, Kash & Co. Ltd., Macroscopic Inc., IUT INT’L TRADE CO. Ltd., UrMart, Watercom Enterprise Ltd., Peng Hsuan Co. Ltd.

    In addition, during a briefing at the seat of the Polish Office in Taipei, the entrepreneurs participating in the trade mission were made familiar with the conditions of introducing Polish products into the Taiwanese market.
